Wildrose Textiles is all about bringing unique beauty to
everything that comes off my looms.
Meet some of the special partners who share in my inspiration:
Founder Karen Hostetler and her son and business partner, Ben were one of my first clients. Together we designed a beautiful herringbone pattern for yardage to sell in their showroom at the mill. As leaders in American merino wool processing, Mountain Meadow Wool is committed to building a company with respect for nature, ethics and sustainability. They continue to explore new and exciting innovations in wool fiber. I’m honored to work with them as a consultant & weaver.
Currently, they are spinning a fine custom Merino/Alpaca yarn for me the their state of the art mill in Buffalo, WY, for my 2019 line. This very special yarn will be integrated into several of my custom projects.
I look forward to sharing it with my customers and clients.
For the last two years, Jesse Smith & I have been collaborating on fabrics that I weave exclusively for her apparel line. For example, The Sally Skirt is a Wildrose Textile which she tailored into a beautiful, classic skirt.
Western Grace introduced a unique jacket design and an asymmetrical wrap featuring a fine herringbone cloth made by Wildrose Textiles & Design which was well received at the Western Design Conference in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, September, 2017.
Jesse has designed a beautiful Women’s Vest that is currently going through the research & development stage. The vest will be made from the Arranmore Herringbone fabric on the ‘Interiors’ page of this website. Stay tuned!
Jeanne deCoster has nurtured a relationship with producers of a rare breed of North American Shetland sheep. I am thankful to have her as my mentor.
The MOUNTAIN CABIN COLLECTION was specialty line of Shetland Blankets which launched at the Western Design Conference, fall 2017.
Natural Hound’s Tooth Blankets currently available in shop. Summer 2019.
This collection is a collaboration where yarn designed and produced by Elemental Affects is hand woven into a classic Hound's Tooth by Wildrose Textiles & Design, then dyed by Elemental Affects into a beautiful palette.
These guest ranches are part of the great Colorado ranching tradition near my home. They are both featuring Wildrose Textiles in their ranch gift shops.
